Here are some details of the reef runner 800 series:
- Total length : 6 3/16"

Most of all walleye anglers will use the reef runner while trolling. By nature, they will try to bring this lure as deep as possible. Try the opposite. When you are successful a identifying a plateau in between 8 to 15 feet depth, use your reef runner deep diver. You won't need more then 10 to 20 feet of line out to have it dive to that specific depth. Yes the lure won't be far behind the boat but it must be right behind the motor turbulence!

The deep diving Reef Runner is one of my all-time favorites. I am one of those guys who enjoys trying to get it as deep as possible. While trolling the drop-offs around rock piles and mud flats in mid-summer, using Fireline and a line counter, I'll get down and knock those low lying 'eyes right on the head. Pulling arcs on the graph out of depths of 35 feet or more is not out of the question.
