Balanced jigging rapala

Balanced jigging Rapala is one of my top 10 walleye fishing lures. First time I've tried this lure I was fishing on Lake St-Louis by Montreal, Quebec with one of the best professional angler in Quebec: Patrick Campeau. It was late in October and we were just drifting in about 10 to 15 feet of water. Our lines were not even ready that Pat's line was in the water and he was successful at catching several walleyes even before we start fishing. Throughout this fishing day, Pat showed us on to properly use the Balanced jigging Rapala.

Walleye Fishing technique for the jigging rap

After tying directly to the top eyelet drop the Jigging Rap to the bottom, indicated by slack line, or to depth fish are suspended at. A quick sharp rise with start the bait in a tantalizing circular motion right in the middle of eager fish. Tipping the center treble with a wax worm or minnow adds to the attraction.

I would strongly recommend to have one or two jigging rap in your tackle box and give it a try next time you will be doing drift fishing!
